A traditional grooming technique for suitable wire and harsh-coated breeds, carefully removing dead outer coat by hand to help maintain the coat's natural texture, colour and condition.

Please note: Not every coat is suitable for hand stripping. Coat texture, previous clipping, neutering and whether the coat is ready to release can all affect suitability. I'll assess your dog's coat and discuss the most appropriate grooming option with you before proceeding.
The time and final price will depend on your dog’s size, coat type, coat condition, styling requirements and the level of support they need during their groom.

The Studio
Gentle Paws is based in a private, peaceful studio in Compton, Wolverhampton - filled with natural light, fitted with non-slip flooring, electric tables and baths, and kept comfortable all year round.
There are no cages, no busy waiting rooms, and no overlapping appointments. Just one dog, fully looked after, for the whole visit.
